Monday Time for Tots!
Playtime and stories at the library, every Monday at 10:30am! We'll have creative sensory activities, drop-in storytime, music, movement, rhymes, and more. This program is geared for ages 0-3; all are welcome! No registration required.
Thursday Storytime
Storytime will be on break from January 16th - February 13th in order to allow Jen to attend library training. We invite families to come by the library to connect, play together, with some gentle self-lead activities. We'll be back soon!
Chinese Language Club
Come learn a new language! Through games and stories, community member Candy Jiang will host fun weekly sessions on the basics of spoken Mandarin. Ages 8-11; Registration required. 10 spots available!

The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza Book Club and Pizza Party
Pre-register for the book club to get updates, activities and printables during the month of January, and a spot at the end-of-month pizza party where we will celebrate this amazing book. Suggested reading for ages 8-11, but this book truly might be enjoyed by all. Pre-register for the book club, borrow your copy from LML, and start reading today!

Puzzle Tournament
Gather your puzzle team of all ages (1-3 people) and register here! Race against other teams to be the first to complete the chosen 500 piece puzzle. Register your team by February 1st to participate!
Saturday Morning Pajama Party!
Think Saturday morning cartoons, but library style. Come in your pajamas, bring your pancakes! We'll have stories from the fan-favorite show Bluey! This program is geared for ages 3-6 but all are welcome. No pre-registration necessary.
Noonday New Years Celebration!
Ring in the Noon Year at LML with a festive midday celebration–perfect for those who aren't staying up for the midnight ball drop! The library will offer crafts and refreshments downstairs, followed by a celebratory noon balloon drop. Don't miss out on this fun midday celebration!
Board Game & Hot Cocoa Cafe
Join us at the library for an afternoon of board games and hot cocoa! We'll have tables set up with a variety of board games and chess sets, fun music playing, and hot cocoa available. Feel free to bring friends, family, and if you'd like, a game from your own collection to share. All ages are welcome to come and enjoy the fun!
Winter Break Kick-Off
Kick off winter break with LML! We'll have Time for Tots, our toddler-friendly storytime w/ sensory play stations, at 10:30 AM, and continue with a celebration in the children’s room throughout the day. Stop by the library for a wintery scavenger hunt, crafts, snacks, and more.
Winter Break Reading Challenge
Ready to cozy up to our winter reading challenge? Grab a bingo card to complete at the Library in this all-ages challenge! Read three poems out loud to a loved one, draw your own comic, or read a book by an indigenous author! Our winter break bingo cards will offer all readers a chance to explore aspects of our library's collection that may be new to you. Each person that returns their bingo card by January 3rd will receive a small prize and a ticket to enter our Kids' Winter Reading Raffle!

Story Time with Angela Kunkel
Join local Vermont author Angela Kunkel for a very special story time where she’ll read from her brand new picture book, World More Beautiful: The Life and Art of Barbara Cooney. Copies will of Angela’s book will be available for purchase at LML for you to get signed by the author!

Drag Queen Story Hour
Join Emoji Nightmare and Katniss Everqueer, two of Vermont's favorite queer performing artists, at Bristol Federated Church for a very special story hour. We’re transforming the children’s library into a Graphic Novel cafe! Peruse and leave with a graphic novel to build your very own collection and enjoy light refreshments.

Book Vs. Movie: The Outsiders
Which one will win the vote?! The book or the movie?!
Join us as we watch the movie The Outsiders at the library on June 7th at 6:00 PM. Bring a folding chair, pillows, blankets to view the movie in comfort. Come dressed as Pony Boy or Cherry? Maybe wear your Madras like a Soc? Or just come as you are!
We will have popcorn and a few bologna sandwiches just like Pony and Johnny ate in the story.

LML Theater Troupe Presents: Peggy The Brave
LML's Theater Troupe is at it again! Join us April 12th at Holley Hall for Peggy the Brave; a story of a young girl that wants to be a pirate. Through her adventures, Peggy teaches us to believe in ourselves.
Adapted from D.M. Larson’s play, our Kids’ Theater Troupe dedicated their Thursday afternoons to crafting a jolly good performance for you. We hope you enjoy!

Theater Troupe
The Lawrence Memorial Theater Troupe will run a nine week after-school program at our library starting on October 4th . Our primary goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for our youngest patrons.
Our hope is to provide an experience for children that will inspire, promoting joy within a community, all while promoting positive self-esteem and risk-taking. Although working as a group, we hope that the children finds and develops their own talents while supporting each other.
Through this session of Theater Troupe, we’ll cover a variety of activities such as drama games, script writing, basic theatrical skills, developing costumes, set design and set construction, basic lighting along with rehearsals and a performance.
We will meet the following Wednesdays:
