Join Lawrence Memorial Library staff, community members and storytellers for our Community Read discussion, hosted virtually via Zoom. We will form small “breakout” groups to allow for open hearted conversation and reflections on the books we read in January and February. A discussion guide will be shared in advance of our time together.
AND….we will come back together on Saturday March 13th at 3PM for a CELEBRATION of the power of storytelling and community engagement hosted by the incredible Ferene Paris Meyer of ALL HEARTS Inspirations . Storytelling is a powerful tool to help individuals and communities process emotions and experiences, and respond to racial inequities and injustices. We hope you can join us for both events. ALL ARE WELCOME.
